A data analyst is responsible for organizing data related to sales numbers, market research, logistics, or other data as required. To utilize technical expertise to ensure data is accurate and high-quality. Data should be thoroughly analyzed, designed, and presented in a way that assists the organizations in making better decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to identify target and market trends.
- Analyze sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and promotional campaigns.
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies based on data analysis
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving marketing ROI.
- Assigning numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods.
- Preparing reports for the management outlining trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis.
- Maintain data privacy and security standards.
- Performs other duties that may be required to enhance the operations of the company
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum a Diploma in a Business/Marketing or related field.
- At least two years of experience in a similar position will be an asset.
